Our staff and crew at Aurora Charters will strive to give you the best possible service and at the same time make every effort to insure your trip is both enjoyable and successful.

The Aurora Charters office opens at 6:00 AM. Please be at the office no later than 6:15 AM. Our staff will be ready to check you in and provide directions to the boat. You can also purchase your Alaska fishing license online or you can buy it (cash only) at our office at that time. If you are already in town the day before your charter you can check into our office then, and then on the morning you will be able to go directly to your boat. Be there no later than 6:15 AM. The boat leaves the dock at 7:00 AM sharp. If you are late you will miss the boat as it will not wait.

You are responsible for bringing a valid signed Alaska fishing license (a copy on your phone will not work), lunch, and beverage (Beer in moderation is allowed). We highly recommend you wear warm light layered clothing and bring water proof outer gear. Also, a camera is a must as you never know what you are going to see on your trip. We have found that over the years a "small" day pack best serves as a gear cache to stow your items in while you are on board.

You will find that all of our vessels come equipped with state of the art Ray Marine electronics and fish finding equipment, as Aurora Charters is pro staff for Ray Marine. All of our vessels carry on board custom made fishing rods with Penn or Avet fishing reels and a large inventory of tournament grade tackle. All safety and life saving equipment on our vessels meets or exceeds U.S. Coast Guard standards and boats are meticulously maintained. We are very proud of our vessels and the Captain and Crews that man them. At Aurora Charters we stress safety first and our friendly crews are made up of dedicated fisherman. The Captains have many years of intimate local fishing knowledge.

Aurora Charters has a ZERO tolerance drug policy on all our vessels.

If you have any questions about your trip please contact our office.
