Some friends and I went on a charter with Captain John and his first mate. Ive been on many charters and he met and exceeded my high expectations. We caught lots of fish and had a blast doing it. They interacted with everyone and made sure that all of us had plenty of opportunities to catch fish. I will be coming back to fish next year and would recommend him over any of the other charters I've been on in previous years. I'll see you next year Captain John!

We had three charters with them. They exceeded expectations every day, three days in a row. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful despite dealing with lots of customers all at the same time. 

The sight-seeing captain and crew on the Emerald Fjord were polite and respectful. They pointed out wildlife and scenery that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. They knew details about everything. They stopped whenever we asked. We got in close to an actively calving tidewater glacier. Well done, John and Kevin!

My son and I went out last week with Capt John, Kevin & Carson. We had an amazing time on the water and caught our limit of fish. These guys were awesome! On the way out we saw orcas and the captain gave us time to get some incredible photos. The waters were calm and the views were amazing. Once we were catching fish these men worked hard to keep everyone fishing. This was the best part of our time in Seward for sure. Thank you so much for taking photos and cleaning our fish. We will be back.

THANK YOU, We have told all our friends.  I want to thank you folks, and especially Captain Jon and his deckhand, Justin, for the wonderful time my family and I had on your boat, the Aurora two weeks ago. Our hearts and minds were filled with memories that will last a lifetime!!!! Things got a bit harried when we drifted over a group of feeding salmon and had up to 5 fish on at the same time!!!

Although we all caught our limits, there have been many complaints by some of my family concerning the trip. Many had experienced quite a bit of soreness in the shoulders and arms from hoisting that many fish up to the surface!!!

Thanks, again, for a wonderful time. It has been suggested that we might want to make this a regular annual vacation destination for the family. Aurora Charters will certainly be a part of any future trips that we make to Alaska!!!

I just wanted to let you all know what a great time me and my friends had on the Orion out with Captain Jon. I have lived in Alaska my entire life and grew up fishing all over Alaska and can honestly tell you Captain Jon provided us with one of the most fun and enjoyable fishing trips ever and an experience of a lifetime. It won't be long before we are back down in Seward out on the Orion catching huge monsters all day long. Captain Jon put us right on world class fishing all day. Again thanks for the great time.
